THAT PERFECT SONG

Hello everyone!!!
What's up?? Welcome back to my blog.

I've read a story from English e-Reader. English e-Reader is extensive reading website that I know from my teacher. This is my first time reading from this website, before this I've read from ER Central. English e-Reader have longer stories than ER Central, so I have to motivate myself to read more. Based on the story from English e-Reader that I've read, I will choose soundtrack from that story. Let's start!

The House On The Hill by Elizabeth Laird

The title of the story is "The House On The Hill" by Elizabeth Laird. Level A2 Elementary. The story consisting of 13 pages with 2870 words. The story is about romance between poor guy and rich girl.

Paul is a poor guy, he lived in the little brown house with his mother. One day, he met Maria, she is a beautiful and rich girl who lived in the big white house on the hill. Shortly, they are fell in love, but Maria's mother didn't like Paul because he is a poor guy and Maria said "I want a lot of money". So they finally broke up, they didn't meet and talk anymore. After that, Maria married with a rich guy, she lived with a lot of money. In other hand, Paul still fell in love with Maria and he won a prize from writing story competition, he got $500 and became rich. Shortly, Maria left her husband and killed her mother to met Paul in the hill house. But Paul didn't love her anymore because he realized Maria was not a good girl and Paul knew she just wanted his money.

From this story, I choose Charlie Puth - We Don't Talk Anymore (feat. Selena Gomez)

We don't talk anymore, we don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore, like we used to do
We don' love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, We don't talk anymore, like we used to do

Paul and Maria didn't talk and meet anymore after they broke up and Paul didn't love Maria again after he knew everything from her.

Cause even after all this time I still wonder
Why I can't move on
Just the way you did so easily

After they broke up, Maria found a man with a lot of money but she just loved his money. Paul still can't move on from Maria because he really loved her.

I just hope you're lying next to somebody
Who knows how to love you like me
There must be a good reason that you're gone

Paul realized Maria wasn't a right girl for him and now Maria lived with another man, but Paul always thought about her. In the ending, Maria comeback to Paul but she was rejected by Paul because he realized everything about Maria now.

I think this Charlie Puth's song is suitable with the story because this song describes about couple that never talk, meet, and love anymore like Paul and Maria. The story have a bittersweet ending.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog.

THANK YOU...
